    What You are Searching?
    This database served as a library catalogue of   Books, Reports, Journals, videos/cds which are in physical form in CED archives in  Mumbai and Bangalore.  The idea is that you can check out if a particular book, article or video is there at CED, before coming.We also make special arrangments for NGOs and Field workers. You can locate your books, report or video by  Title, Author, or Date. You can also give keywords or source/publications. Please note that,  not all journals articles have been indexed. But we do have a range of Journals, which we advised you to come to CED and check out.

    Further,  you can also search in our Electronic Documents.
    Search  options Explained:
    Title  : Search the  query text in the  title of the article.
    Author: Search the query text in the Author field of the article.
    Abstract: Search the query text in either in the  title or in the abstract/summary(It is a small portion of the dcoument which gives you some idea of the content of the document before you actually open that document.)   field.

    		Please note that if you select( "TICK")  all these options,  the query text will be searched in all   these fields.
    Order by : Display the records in  either Ascending or Descending order of Title, Author, or abstract.
    Type: Allows you to  search the query text  in All the records or,  only in Books section, or Reports, Or Jounalas Or  films/CDs or  in Electronic documents.
    More Filtering options
    Match exact phrase or words : eg, if the query text is  "child labour"   it will fetch the records like   " 
      "Child labour     rampant in BellaryBackup Copy in CED Library"  and   "Scrap the Child Labour Act of 1986"
    Either of the Words : eg, if the query text is "child labour"  it will fetch the records  like "Of labour and laws"   and   "Focus on Child Mental Health"
    All the words: fetch records with all the query words present. eg,   "Child labour age bar to go up "     and  "Girl Child and Labour - Her Contribution in the Economy"
    Partial match: fetch the records  some words of the query words match. eg  "Where is the food for children vanishing?"    and  "Labourers injured by toxic chemical recovering"
